The ISO 38500 standard is a business leaders’ framework for managing risk and maximising value of IT without jargon. It promotes effective, efficient, and acceptable use of IT in all organizations.

The seminar is presented by Mark Toomey – an independent and outspoken advocate for good governance of information technology. Mark is a past chair of the Standards Australia committee that developed AS8015 – the precursor to ISO/IEC 38500 and was the project editor responsible for preparing the final text of the international standard.

Mark is in-demand for his expert guidance on application of the new standard and has provided briefings to international audiences in Australia, Canada, the United States, Asia and Europe. He is a prolific contributor to the developing body of knowledge about corporate governance of information technology.
