Does Apple have governance issues?

Michael Wolff posts at Off the Grid on Steve Jobs, his illness, Apple and issues that arise as a result.

Wolff did not tackle it directly, but I think a number of corporate governance issues flow from what is happening at Apple.

These include:-

  1. Does the board have succession planning in place for Jobs and other key personnel?
  2. If not, why not?
  3. There appears to be a lack of transparency over this issue, why is that the case?

Read the article, let me know what you think?

What are the other key governance issues that you think apply?

Maybe you think there are no governance issues, if that is the case – why do you think that?
