The Societe Generale fraud story

June 28, 2009 · Leave a Comment

After my presentation to the Wellington ISACA Chapter on Friday a fellow member, Alisdair McKenzie, sent me information on a video presentation about the Societe Generale fraud.

Keith White, Vice President of Information Security Risk at Credit Suisse Group, explains what happened in the fraud case at Societe Generale Corporate and Investement Banking, and what controls should be put in place to prevent such a case at other financial institutions.

It is worth viewing.
